Theater Seating & Guest Services

The BirdSong Theater

Suffolk Center’s Birdsong Theater is a 500-seat auditorium that hosts a range of musical performances and plays and is also available for private rental. What we’ve discovered is there are no bad seats here!

Guest Services

*Updated as of September 1, 2025

  • Roomier Seats: The seats in the Center Orchestra section of the theater have been updated to provide more legroom and a roomier seat.
  • Coat Check: For your convenience, there is a self-service coat rack located in the lobby.  Ask an usher for the location.
  • Concessions: For your enjoyment, at certain shows, concessions and beverages may be available for sale before the performances and during intermissions.  Only concessions purchased at the Lobby Snack Bar are permitted in the theater.

The Suffolk Center is Sensory Inclusive
We wish for everyone to have a memorable and enjoyable experience while attending events and performances at the Suffolk Center.
During some performances, camps, and even classes, there may be a time when loud sounds, lights, and other disruptions distract guests in our Center.
We have available Sensory Backpacks that contain headsets and other sensory stimulators that may help to reduce anxiety for some of our guests, both children and adults.  Ask any staff member or volunteer for assistance.
We wish for everyone to have a positive experience while in our Center.
