The performing arts have always been about more than what happens onstage for me. They are about storytelling, connection, and creating moments that bring people together. As the Performing Arts Manager at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, I am excited to help create more of those moments for the Suffolk and Hampton Roads communities.
I am an award-winning director, producer, and President of the Little Theatre of Norfolk, with a passion for programming that welcomes new audiences and celebrates the many stories within our community. As a Latina arts leader, that has included helping create Vida Vibrante, an annual celebration of Hispanic and Latino arts and culture. I am excited to bring my experience, creativity, and love of live performance to the Suffolk Center while supporting the incredible artists who make it all possible.
When I am not working in the arts, I am usually enjoying them! I love theatre, live music, traveling, cooking for friends, trips to New York City, and spending time with my dog, Brooklyn.
