As the Education and Community Outreach Manager at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, I am excited to continue serving the community I have called home since 1987. After retiring from Suffolk Public Schools following a rewarding 33-year career in education, I was drawn to the Center’s mission of creating opportunities for learning, connection, and enrichment. I believe the arts can open doors to new perspectives, spark creativity, and bring people together in meaningful ways, and I am honored to help foster those experiences throughout our community.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, being outside, and caring for our little hobby farm filled with dogs, goats, and chickens. Whenever possible, you’ll find me at the beach, my favorite place to relax and recharge. I look forward to connecting with our Suffolk and Hampton Roads communities and helping people of all ages discover, learn, and engage through the arts.
