Class Description:
A technique-based class focusing on scene study, character development, script analysis, and confidence-building. Participants will explore monologues, partner scenes, and ensemble work while developing tools applicable to both stage and screen performance.
Acting Class Attire:
Students should wear comfortable clothing that allows for full movement.
Recommended:
• Leggings, athletic pants, dance shorts, or leotards
• Fitted t-shirts or tank tops
• Hair secured away from the face
Footwear:
• Jazz shoes or dance sneakers
• Clean indoor athletic sneakers if dance shoes are not available
Please avoid:
- Jeans or restrictive clothing
• Street shoes or sandals, and socks w/o grips
• Large or dangling jewelry
Students should also bring a water bottle to class.
Teens and Adults should also bring a journal/notebook to class and a pocket folder to keep scenes, monologues, and handouts in)
