Oil Painting
Class Description:
Come to our Oil Painting class (previously called “Joy of Painting”) to receive basic and intermediate oil painting instruction. Each class will have offered an optional oil painting lesson or exercise. This class is for someone wanting to try oil painting for the first time, for the oil painter wanting to grow, or for the independent oil painter wanting dedicated studio time to paint. Paints and supplies are available for new students to try oil painting. Just bring your own canvas! Students may come for the weekly lesson or bring their own painting project to work on during class. Joy of Painting is taught by studio, still life, and plein air artist Elizabeth Blanchard. This class is a prerequisite for joining the Oil Painting – Advanced Studio class at 2pm.
