The Exorcist

“Somewhere between science and superstition, there is another world. The world of darkness.” Teenage girl Regan brutally changes both in the way she looks and the way she acts, with violent outbursts on everyone who comes in contact with her. Her worried mother seeks the help of two priests to exorcise the demon inside of her and save the girl within.

The all-star cast includes Linda Blair, Jason Miller, Max von Sydow, Ellen Burstyn, and Lee J. Cobb. The film is rated R and has a running time of one hour and 2 minutes. No children under 17 will be permitted.

The Amityville Horror

A large “dream” house on the coast of Long Island where newlyweds George and Kathy Lutz and their three children move becomes a site of abject terror, as the house seems to be haunted by its previous owners.

The cast includes a James Brolin, Margo Kidder, Rod Steiger, Don Stroud, and Natasha Ryan. The film is rated R and has a running time of 117 minutes. No children under 17 will be permitted.

Rosemary’s Baby

A young Catholic housewife in New York City fears she is beset by evil during a bizarre pregnancy. As she falls increasingly ill, alarming hints of a well-planned and sinister conspiracy begin to emerge, enfolding Rosemary in a shroud of suspicion and mental agony. She grows terrified at the prospect that her outwardly benevolent neighbors aren’t who they appear to be.
