Friday, August 22, 2025 | Tickets $25.00/ bowl
Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts is holding an Empty Bowls Event to benefit The Suffolk Christian Fellowship Food Bank.
Empty Bowls is a global movement that raises money for food banks and soup kitchens through art-based fundraisers.
This is how it works:
- Local artists donate hand-made bowls
- Guests choose a bowl to keep as a reminder of the empty bowls we help to fill
- Arts Kitchen provides a simple soup tasting, which you enjoy in your bowl, and
- you leave with a one-of-a-kind work of art.
Empty Bowls at The Suffolk Center
Friday, August 22, 2025 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
🎟 $25 per bowl | All proceeds benefit the Suffolk Christian Fellowship Food Bank
Join us for a meaningful evening where art meets community at Empty Bowls, a global movement to fight hunger through creativity and compassion.
Hosted by The Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, this special event raises funds for the Suffolk Christian Fellowship Food Bank with support from Suffolk Economic Development and the Suffolk News Herald.
Here’s how it works:
Choose your bowl – Local artists have donated beautiful, hand-crafted ceramic bowls. Each guest selects one to take home.
Enjoy a soup tasting – Courtesy of Arts Kitchen, enjoy a simple, comforting soup served in your new bowl.
Support the cause – Your bowl becomes a lasting reminder of the empty bowls we’re working to fill in our community.
Every ticket includes one handmade bowl, soup tasting, and the opportunity to support local hunger relief in a creative, impactful way.
No one should go hungry.
