Sounds of the Joint Service
The TRADOC band, in conjunction with the U. S. Navy Fleet Forces Band and the U. S. Air Force Heritage of America Band is proud to present “Sounds of the Joint Service.” This performance will feature masterworks from some of the most recognizable classical composers in music history, such as Leonard Bernstein’s Overture to “Candide,” Percy Grainger’s “Lincolnshire Posy,” and Ottorino Respighi’s “Pines of Rome.” The concert will also highlight compositions such as “One Life Beautiful” by Emmy Award winner composer, Julie Giroux; as well as Danzón No. 2 by Arturo Márquez, one of the most important Mexican composers of orchestral music. This collaborative band will be made up of 55 service members and the performance will last one our and thirty minutes, plus intermission.
This performance is FREE and Open to the public. Please register in advance to insure you have a seat!
