By participating in this inspiring competition, young creators will have the opportunity to share their vision of a peaceful world. Through art, music, and creative writing, students will contribute to the international dialogue about the importance of building friendships ans bridging cultural divides.
This annual juried event invites Suffolk public and private school students to submit their creations of paintings, drawings, sculptures, poetry, music, short stories, and/or longer essays. Deadline for submissions is December 4, 2024.
Winning artwork is then sent from Suffolk to Washington, D.C., where a panel of judges selects the final winners based on originality, composition, and theme interpretation.
