Asiko-oluwa Aderin

Printmaking

Asiko-oluwa Aderin is a Nigerian-American artist and graphic designer from Chesapeake, Virginia. She is a recent honors graduate from Norfolk State University. Using media such as printmaking and ceramics, her works explore issues of identity, and focus on reconnecting with her cultural heritage in the hopes that it will encourage others to do the same.

Throughout her academic journey, Asiko-oluwa has exhibited in multiple shows, interned at the Chrysler Museum of Art, studied abroad, taught with Arts4Learning VA, and more. She now plans on pursuing her Master of Fine Arts at NSU. Ultimately, she hopes to educate, uplift, and empower her communities in and through the arts.
