People Eater Sneak Peak Premiere

“People Eater,” SNEAK PEAK PREMIERE, before Poltergeist!
‘People Eater’ is a comedy-horror short filmed in and around Downtown Suffolk. While quarantining in Suffolk, director Henry Luzzatto and star Michael Luzzatto decided to make a film about the horrors of being stuck at home with your family. With a DIY, no-budget production, “People Eater” shows what you can create with your hometown scenery, a patient family, and lots of fake blood.

The Suffolk Division of Tourism wants to give you the fright of your life as they present a series of classic horror films at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts. On Friday, October 30, 2020, join us for “Poltergeist,” the 1982 supernatural horror film that is recognized as a classic within the horror genre and has gained a cult following. The show begins at 8pm and admission $3 per person; no children under 17 will be permitted without a parent or guardian. For more information, please contact the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts box office at 757.923.2900.

A young family are visited by ghosts in their home. At first, the ghosts appear friendly, moving objects around the house to the amusement of everyone. But then they turn nasty and start to terrorize the family, culminating in the kidnapping of the youngest daughter, Carol Anne.

The cast includes Craig T. Nelson, JoBeth Williams, Dominique Dunne, Oliver Robins, Heather O’Rourke, and Zelda Rubenstein. The film is rated PG and has a running time of 114 minutes.
