Please join us for Movies at the Center presented by Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts in partnership with Suffolk Tourism. On Thursday, January 17, 2019, we’ll be showing the 1978 cult classic, Grease. This rousing musical about teens in love in the 50’s lit up the box office and made stars of Olivia Newton John and John Travolta.
It’s California in 1959 and greaser Danny Zuko and Australian (and resident good girl) Sandy Olsson fall in love over the summer, not expecting to see each other at summer’s end. When they unexpectedly discover they’re now in the same high school, will they be able to rekindle their romance? An all-star cast includes John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing, Jeff Conaway, Didi Conn, Dinah Manoff, Eve Arden, and cameos by Sid Caesar and Frankie Avalon. This film is rated PG-13 and has a running time of 1 hour and 50 minutes.
