Follow the link that is texted to you to fill out the registration. Your cell phone will be used for Silent Auction & Live Auction bidding before and during the Virtual Fundraiser.

SILENT and LIVE Auction bidding opens on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 10am. When bidding opens, text the word SUFFOLK to 71760 to bid on your favorite items! Follow the link that is texted to you to fill out the registration.
• Note: All bidding will be done online; you must use a SmartPhone to bid. Winners must pick up their items from the Suffolk Center, or pay shipping fee.

We invite everyone to tune in on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 7 PM and watch fundraiser ‘There’s No Place Like Home for the Arts!’. The one-hour event takes place on stage in the Suffolk Center’s Birdsong Theater. Co-Emcees Kerri Furey, co-host of the Hampton Roads Show, and singer songwriter Jim Newsom will be LIVE, broadcasting to the at-home audience. Throughout the evening, virtual guests can play along with pre-purchased BINGO Cards for a chance to win $2,000, $1,000 and $500. The evening will showcase Silent and Live Auction items for final bids. Viewers will enjoy messages of support, and the important work Suffolk Center does everyday. The best part is that all the proceeds from ‘There’s No Place Like Home for the Arts!‘ go to Suffolk Center’s continued support for Arts Education and Community Outreach programs in 2021.

This painting is titled “Grazing” Virginia Valley and Blue Ridge mountains. This piece is hand painted by Guy Crittenden. Guy prefers to work in oils and his subjects are best described as Landscapes, Wildlife and Sporting scenes. Growing up in the rural county of Gloucester, Virginia on the Chesapeake Bay, he found his passion in the natural wonders of the world around him.

Handblown Glass Sculpture “Zosteta Marina” #4 (Rivergrass) 29″ tall Crystal base 7 x 7 x 1.5 by Neil Duman. Neil’s inspiration for creating this hand-blown glass piece came from many years of rafting down the James River in Richmond.

Begin with a guided hunt in the morning, then enjoy a culinary feast for hungry hunters tastefully presented by Chef Chester, Chef Coxe, and Chef Everett at Bear Creek Lodge, the beautiful cabin and hunting grounds of Nan and Tom Coxe. An afternoon hunt will round out the day. Assistance will be provided by Sadie and Lucy, the renowned bird dogs of Everett Irby, and joining the fun this year will be Kelly and Shea, the Coxe’s new bird dogs! C-Hawk Center Console fishing vessel with USCG Licensed Captain Leck Lawrence who has been fishing the big waters of the Pamlico and Pungo Rivers and Pamlico Sound for years. This full-day trip will accommodate up to 3 fishermen who will be treated to lunch and drinks. All bait and tackle will be provided. You and your crew will board the boat at Dowry Creek Marina in Belhaven, North Carolina at an agreed upon date and time. Dinner will be provided for the 3 fishermen the evening before the trip.
