The Suffolk Division of Tourism, in partnership with the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, is pleased to present “Coco” at the Suffolk Center, on Sunday, March 8, 2020, beginning at 2pm. This dazzling family film was a box-office smash and won Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song. Admission is free and open to the public. Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history. Vocal talent is provided by Gael García Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Alanna Ubach, Gabriel Iglesias, Edward James Olmos, and Anthony Gonzalez.This film is rated PG and has a running time of 105 minutes. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
