Class Description: Are you having difficulty capturing those special, one-of-a-kind images because of the auto function on your camera? Learn how to not miss any of those again by learning how to shoot in a manual. After all, who is the artist taking the image; you or the computer chip inside your camera? In this class, you can learn how to use the f/stop, shutter speed, and ISO to work together to capture those unique images that the auto mode will miss. Plus, Flash, Macro, Composition, White Balance, Format, Depth of Field, and Histogram. Please bring your digital camera to class.

Class Description: This class is freestyle and yet structured with a variety of mediums, a series of everyday subjects, graduating into shading, and lighting techniques. This is a beginner class that will teach the Fundamentals of Drawing using many types of pencils, charcoals, and graphite on different textures and weights of papers. The student supply list is provided below. Please bring these materials to the first class. These items may be purchased on amazon.com as a drawing kit.

Class Description: This will be an ongoing experience teaching children, parents, and even grandparents
the value of making confident food and lifestyle choices. The class will start with
the fundamentals or kitchen skills that can be easily implemented in the home. This modern
take on the “home economics class”, will examine simple concepts incorporating
mathematics, science, geography, and history while applying them to creating tasty foods.

Learn the art of glass blowing with one of Virginia’s most respected glass craftsmen. Spend one hour creating your very own glass-blown piece of artwork. You will be able to work with a professional glass artist. Neil Duman shows his love for art through his flowing designs of colorful glass. These symmetrical works portray visions of beauty and relaxation that will catch the eye as light projects through them. Children ages 10+ must have a parent or guardian with them during the duration of the class.
