CHILDREN’S CHORUS VIRTUAL CHOIR

The Suffolk Center Children’s Chorus is a community children’s chorus based in Suffolk, Virginia. The Chorus is a place where children ages 7-17 can learn better singing techniques and enhance their musical abilities. The children come from different backgrounds, but all come with one thing in common: the LOVE for singing! The Chorus was founded in January 2018 by Gavin Harper with about 15 singers and has doubled since then and continues to grow.

When COVID-19 shut everything down, some of the Chorus members came together to still create music even if they couldn’t be together. The Chorus had been preparing for their spring concert with the hit feature “Seasons of Love” from the Musical: Rent. Unfortunately, the concert was cancelled, but that didn’t stop them from singing!
