Starting at 8am ending around 6:30pm
Artists will spend the day in Suffolk painting. This event is chaired by Suffolk artists Barbara Harris and Sandy Waters.
Entry guidelines:
- Fee is $25.00. Application deadline: Friday, November 2nd.
- Check-in from 08:00-8:30am Saturday, November 10that the Suffolk Cultural Arts Center, rain or shine.
- A cash award of $120.00 will be given for the “People’s Choice Award” on Saturday evening along with a 2ndplace and 3rdplace award.
- Critique & Wet paint sale from 4:30-6:30pm at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts. Open to the public.
Location suggestions: Anywhere in Suffolk. Suggested locations include Cedar Hill Cemetery, North Main Street, Riddick’s Folley, and the Suffolk Seaboard Station Train Museum.
Schedule for the day:
8:00 – 8:30am – Coffee and donuts, stamp your canvases at the Suffolk Cultural Arts Center
8:30am – 4:00pm – Painting in Suffolk
4:00 – 6:30pm – Wine & Cheese, Critique and Wet Paint Sale. Suffolk Center Galleries (2ndfloor)
