At this time the renovation/construction work is progressing on schedule.
The main critical path activity continues to be asbestos abatement, demolition of certain areas and window restoration, which is being performed on site. Part of the new roof system has been installed. The roof above the present stagehouse in the theater has been removed and the steel work is being installed to support the new fly loft. The old theater seats are being renovated and reupholstered.
In January, Birdsong Recreation Center was demolished. The new view is spectacular. The space will allow Finney Avenue to extend to the center to Pine Street and provide downtown green space. Please refer to the Site Plan for additional information.
